I Hate Myself for Being Too Lazy

Sorry if I haven’t updated this blog. I must have been too busy or too lazy to update. I was also thinking of turning this domain into a portfolio site and buy a new domain where I will be blogging. I’m not sure yet but I’m planning on moving to a new host. I love Bubble.nu but I need a bigger diskspace because I want to offer subdomain hosting. I am still looking for a good but not too pricey web host.

Anyway, we had our acquaintance party on August 12, 2010. I swear, I hate the theme of our party. It was a Hawaiian party and I had a hard time looking for clothes that suits the theme best. Every girl was wearing a floral dress, except for me. I wore a tie-dye tunic top and a pair of shorts. I was not in the mood to wear a dress. I had a great time watching my schoolmates perform Hawaiian and Tahitian dances.

Everyone wanted to have their picture taken by the “bonfire”.

Faculty Members and School Staff

Two weeks after the acquaintance party, some of my former high school classmates decided to have a small gathering because it’s been a while since the last time we were together. We went to a restaurant where we can eat all we can for P200 ($5) per person. Pretty cheap huh? Everyone took turns in using my camera that’s why some of the pics were a little blurry because they don’t know how to use it.

I’m the one with the pink shirt. I look fat.

Look, I see myself on the mirror.

Margie strangling Kervin.

Ria and Christian with their “child” Paulina.

And we went to this coffee shop where I had a glass of Italian soda.

Big Bang’s new video

I love Papa YG for releasing new Big Bang songs and Taeyang’s international album. I can’t wait for 2NE1′s comeback on September 9, 2010. 2NE1 worked with Will.I.Am for their full length album. I wish I have money to buy Taeyang’s SOLAR and international album and 2NE1′s full-length album. But I have to save money for the 2-Day Big Three photography seminar on October 16-17, 2010 and it costs P3500 ($78). The speakers for this seminar are Ibarra Deri, Jun Miranda and Mark Floro.

Before I end this post, I want to congratulate all July 3 & 4, 2010 Nursing board exam passers especially to my cousin, Aivy, and to Ria and Lyka (former high school classmates). At last, you girls are now registered nurses. I also want to congratulate my brother for being accepted in DLSU. He’s going to take up Masters in Information Technology. Now that he’s in DLSU, I don’t think I will get a laptop soon because his tuition is a little expensive.

END! Thank you for reading. =D

Oh, wait. My dad accepted my business proposal. I’m going to put up a business after college, he’s going to provide money for the capital. Oh graduation, please come soon. I can’t wait any longer.

SERIOUSLY. THE END. =D

Staying Active

Posted on July 14, 2010. Filed under: Everyday,Friends,Leysamfoto,Photoshoot | 3 Comments

I’ve been an inactive member of our photography club for a while. I’ve missed a lot of photo shoots, parties and barbecue nights. It’s not like I’m doing it on purpose, I’m just not allowed to go out that much. Life is hard and not to mention boring when you have overprotective parents. Curfews… “Don’t do this, don’t do that”… Ugh! I’ve had enough! I’ve finally decided to stay active with club activities and have an active social life as much as possible. This will be my last year as a student. Hopefully, I will be graduating from college this school year and I want to enjoy my last few months of being a student. I just hope my parents would stop flooding my phone’s inbox with messages saying “Go home right now.” just when the party’s just started.

Last Saturday, I joined some of my fellow club members on a group photo shoot. I really like joining photo shoots organized by our club because it gives me a chance to learn new techniques and enhance my skills. It was supposed to be an outdoor photoshoot but it started raining we decided to shoot inside Jose Karlos, a coffee shop that’s popular among teens here in our city. Next, we went to Zaibatsu Bar. The owner, Miss Cristina, welcomed us and gave us permission to shoot inside the restaurant. We really got carried away and enjoyed ourselves because it was still a bit early, there were no other customers yet. Each one of us got a free glass of iced teas while the models got smoothies. Awww, I wish I was one of the models so that I could taste those yummy-looking smoothies. After about an hour, we left Zai and went to Kyle’s. One of the model’s mom owns the place. We got to eat free pancit with sliced bread. And we continued our shoot until 7:00PM. We went to pick up Cocaine, a fellow club member and my sister’s high school friend/classmate(?). We had a barbecue dinner by the sea. The isaw, chicken skin and pork barbecue were delicious.

Yesterday, I finally got the chance to watch Eclipse. Well, I wasn’t impressed with the movie. I got…bored. I don’t know, maybe if I got to watch this right after I’ve read the book and I still got the Twilight fever, I wouldn’t say that it was boring. But now that I’ve gotten over the Twilight fever, I found the movie a little boring. But I did enjoy Kirsten’s expression when she punched Taylor. That was epic. Taylor Lautner’s really gorgeous in Eclipse. It’s a good thing I got my new pair of glasses to see those Jacob-biceps very well.

Earlier today, I went to Cocaine’s house together with Alysa right after our class. I really like her house, I kept telling her that I’m going to pack my bags when I get home and move in with her and her family. XD Spending time with her made me forget that Alysa and I are younger than her. She still remembers how I would run around our house wearing nothing but my underwear when I was still a toddler.

Okay, so yeah. I need to stop now or I might embarass myself more. Here are the photos from the photo shoot last Saturday. Click to enlarge.
